Volunteers from Fed Up With Hunger recently joined the St. Mary’s team to serve a warm meal at the Soup Kitchen in Waukegan. It was a meaningful experience to work alongside caring volunteers and support individuals and families in our community.
We are grateful to the St. Mary’s team for welcoming us and giving our volunteers the opportunity to be part of this important service. The experience reminded us that when people come together with compassion and a shared purpose, even a few hours of service can make a meaningful difference.
Fed Up With Hunger looks forward to continuing to partner with local organizations and volunteers who share our commitment to fighting hunger and serving our neighbors with dignity and care.
