One of the goals of Fed Up With Hunger is to help ensure that individuals and families facing food insecurity have access to nutritious and easy-to-prepare foods. Recently, we had the opportunity to donate food items to the Leyden Township Food Pantry to support the community members they serve.
Our donation included 20 cans of corn, 20 cans of green beans, 20 cans of peaches, 20 cans of mixed vegetables, and 24 packs of soup noodles. These pantry staples provide nutritious and convenient meal options while helping keep the pantry shelves stocked for those who rely on its services.
Food pantries play an important role in supporting individuals and families during difficult times. By providing shelf-stable foods and everyday essentials, they help ensure that community members have access to meals when they need them most.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the mission of Fed Up With Hunger. Every donation brings us one step closer to building a stronger, hunger-free community.
