A Passion Week Outreach: Filling Hearts and Snack Bags

In March 2025, during Passion Week, we partnered with Fillaheart4Kids to organize a special service project focused on showing love and care to foster children. With the help of our community, we assembled snack bags filled with treats and encouragement for children to enjoy during spring break. Each bag was thoughtfully packed to bring a little joy, comfort, and a reminder that they are seen and loved. It was a meaningful way to honor the spirit of Passion Week by serving others and sharing hope with some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
We are very thankful to St. Peter’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Northlake, IL, for their generous support in organizing this event as part of the Passion Week outreach activities.
