Brightening Days: Feeding and Engaging with Children at Prathyasha Bhavan

In June 2023, as part of the Fed Up With Hunger initiative, we had the opportunity to volunteer at Prathyasha Bhavan in Palluruthy, Kerala, a church-run orphanage dedicated to supporting children in need. Driven by our mission to combat food insecurity, we provided nutritious meals to all the children for the day. More than just offering food, we spent meaningful time engaging with the kids: sharing stories, playing games, and creating joyful memories. It was a heartwarming experience that not only brought smiles to their faces but also reminded us of the profound impact of compassion and community support.
