One of Rachel’s favorite ways to give back is by cooking and delivering meals to the women and children at Hope House and Renewal House, part of Lake County Haven in Libertyville, IL. She loves spending time in the kitchen, and it means so much to her to know that the meals she prepares bring comfort and nourishment to those rebuilding their lives. Whether it’s pasta, soup, or sandwiches, Rachel cooks with love and hopes her meals bring a little warmth to their day. She also encourages others who enjoy cooking to get involved—it’s a simple but powerful way to support the incredible women at both houses on their journey toward healing and independence.
