Baskets of Blessings

Spreading Joy: Delivering Meals and Memories for Thanksgiving

In November 2024, with the generous support of our church community, we were able to donate 112 Baskets of Blessings—containing a total of 1,344 Thanksgiving food items—to the Leyden Food Pantry, Franklin Park, IL. The Baskets of Blessings event was thoughtfully organized at the church, bringing volunteers together to assemble each basket with care and intention. Filled with traditional holiday foods, these baskets helped local families enjoy a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving. We are very thankful to St. Peter’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Northlake, IL, for their generous support in organizing this event as part of their Thanksgiving outreach activities. This effort was a true reflection of faith in action, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.
