We are deeply honored and grateful to the Northern Illinois Food Bank for recognizing our efforts in their October newsletter under Volunteer Spotlight. It was a true privilege to be featured alongside so many inspiring individuals who share the same goal, fighting hunger and supporting families in need.
The feature highlighted Fed Up With Hunger’s Hunger Action Day campaign, through which more than $1,000 was raised, equivalent to about $8,000 worth of groceries for local families. This acknowledgment means so much to us and reaffirms the importance of working together as a community to make a difference.
